Lower the tank water。
Dont feed it for 1 day。
Slowly guild into the bag put transmore in the bag until it sleep then lift up the bag with a helper。
Use a very very strong bag。
>When i bagged my Aro, i need to transport it in-car for 4hours+。
The farm placed the bag into a foam box some ice packs were kept in the box before sealing it。
According to them, cooler water will hinder the fish to be panic / aggresive。
>If its for a short trip, normally i wil bag the aro and dont leave any air gap and tigh the bag and put inside a styrofrom box to restrict its movement。

i heard that when poeple ship, they use ice packs to cool the arowana to sleep。 we use ice packs during shipping is to lower the temp of the water slowly to that in the air as when it is up in air in the areoplane cargo area。。。it is cold。
As for bagging your red to the new tank。。。
1) starve the fish for at least 3-4days。
2) Let your fish know that it is moving to a bigger tank under YOUR care。
3) On the day of move, lower the tank water so that it got no place to dash dwn or up。
4a) You do the bagging, as the aro will recognize the owner and will not feel threaten so much。
4b) If u have no confident in bagging the fish at all, add transmore to let it sleep then bag the fish。
5) Get a fren to help u lift the bag up as it is damn heavy。
6) Do the usual stuff of acalimate the fish with the new water。
>I don think its a good idea of letting the Aro sleep in the bag。
Rather, I would go for the Aro being semi sleep stage。
What if being overdose with transmore ? Chances!
1。 Aro will die
2。 Difficult to climatize the Aro as it is still in sleeping stage
=>; higher risk in sleeping mode。
>If you are not absolutely confident about your aros behaviour and your ability to use transmore then please get help。
Cooling the water is a safer way if you want to do it yourself。 But please monitor your temperature。
I have known some cases where transmore seems to have no effect on an aro, only to have the aro suddenly flip over after the dose is increased。
>i would not use chemical。 i think i will go with the slight cooling of water, no feed for a few days and reducing water level to eliminate space for it to jump high。 using a thick gauge bag to catch。
>Bro henward, with your careful planning and caution, Im quite sure the Aro is in the good hand。 Anyway, it is good to find someone for help, alone may be difficult to hand。
