Help on Betta fin rot

Please guide me to bros whove experience this before 。 Ive notice that my bettas tail has got shorter and looks worst than before。 After few research on the internet , i think my betta might be facing fin rot 。
Ive quarantine him in a small tank with new clean aged water and half tablespoon of salt ( every 100% water change everyday ) in a 1/2 gallon tank as 1 tablespoon per 1 gallon tank based on my research 。 And should not continue with salt for more than 10 days 。
Also do 100% water change every day 。 Please correct me if im wrong 。 I did not start any medicine yet 。。hoping that salt would help 。
Am i doing the correct way in curing the fin rot?
May i transfer him in a holding cup while doing 100% water change ?

IMO If its possible do stop doing your 100% water change everyday。 Maybe 3 times a week or so。 Also do purchase the anti fin-rot medi and try it out。 If possible, do put it into a tank with stable water conditions and monitor it。 Itll feel better as time goes by。 May i ask what betta is it?

Its a half moon betta bro。 The tail its rotting。 Its pretty sad 。 Stable water condition as in cycled ? Hes in a small 2 liter quarantine tank now 。
>Add black water salt and of ccourse yellow powder
>Stable water as in like in a main community tank with filtration。 Before you quarantine it, was it in a comm tank?
>You can transfer him to a temporary small holding cup while doing 100% wc, use age/black water as advise by bro Marcus。 1 gallon tank will be better than 0。5 gallon tank I think。 You can use anti fin/tail rot medicine to prevent rot。 wc can be alternative day or every 3 days depends how much and how frequent you feed and how big is the tank。
Btw, my double tail and rose tail the tails and fins are almost gone, and are in 1 gallon or bigger tank now。 I just use a little salt and black water。 I heard the fin/tail will grow back but think it takes time to grow back。 I didnt use any medicine as the fin/tail are seriously damage/gone。 I feed them twice a day and wc twice a week after moving them to bigger tank。 If the tank is small 1 feed per day is good enough, all the small tank I only feed once per day since my wc is twice a week。
I am also learning and any more advise/comment are welcome, just wish to share and learn too。 Thanks。
>Originally Posted by Marcus Lim Add black water salt and of ccourse yellow powder Thanks bro。 What would yellow powder be? Can i put the ketapang leaves instead of black water?

You can use ketapang leaves instead of blackwater, more cheap
I feed once a day in small tank because based on my experience twice feeding/day the small tank cannot cope as waste, feces and ammonia built up very fast (I didnt measure just my thought)。 You shall use the anti-rot medicine as it is already got the fins rot issue。 I forgot what is the diet for your betta ?
Just to share and learn from each others。 Cheers! Btw, my rose tail just up lorry yesterday for unknown reason。
