who feel 618 quality going downwards?

who feel 618 quality going downwards?this just my personal observation。 Ever since i started fish keeping i been visiting 618 for the past 2+ years。
only recently notice their fish condition very bad。 A lot of dead fish in the tank and other illness。
those dead fish in the tank, left only a bit of flesh and bone, obviously left in the tank for a long time。
just last week i saw their rainbow crab tank got a dead crab。 the water very foul smelling。 the very next day i went, again the same dead crab is there in its same position。 water never change at all。 anyone who walk past can easily smell it。
thought the horrible situation maybe is just temporary, i went ytd, so many fish in poor water condition。
quite dismay to see this happen。
wonder if i am the only one who feel that way。

I have to agree with that。
and the oldies there have major attitude problem。
>Some possibilities! a。 Low sales, so cut cost measures is to save on water bill。 b。 Lack of experienced manning to carry out maintenance of tank that affects poor health of livestock put on sale。
From the above feedback, it is quite similar situation in many other LFSes。。。。 Times are bad in Aquatic trade sia。。。
>I disagree。 I think these are just isolated unhappy episodes。 Have been patronising them for almost 15 years services, price and quality is as good。
I agree with bro Bali。 Not so much to save on water bill。 We all know that we can cut costs by reducing the quantity of feeding but very difficult to cut down on WC regime。 The other fact is its very difficult to employ an experienced and reliable helper (shop attendant) nowadays。 Less pay, long hours, wet, tiring, smelly work, shedd aquarium one day off a week hard to find employees lah Hence lack of manpower to attend all the chores 。。。 more ending jobs (why I said this becos I worked part-time at a Ifs during my younger days to earn pocket money)
Old customers like me would usually inform them of the dead fishes/remove it/inform that water is foul
>Anything which make you eyesore can always approach the owner and share your concern, I believed your kind approached will not be rejected。
It took years to build up a good reputation and recognition but it only take a single complaint to tarnish all the previous effort。
Benefit of doubts should be given, manpower constrains can be an issues。
How many local willingly to work in LFS? Many LFS cease operations because of poor business and high rental。
Manpower constrain can be another source of contribution, to hire a local is many times difficult than hire few foreigners。

Agree with you bro, now only LFS。 Other industry such as FnB, tourism attraction places have the same issue too。
>I think quality still ok, at least i dont see cotton wool like rotten stuff in tank like other lfs。
LFS business also not easy。。。Stones and AquaHobby also stop operating。
I think AE closing this Dec and looking for new places, spoke to them last week。
Visited the place previously operated by Ah[email ;protected] Ris, price not bad for fishes。 Did not ask for equipment though。
Anyway back to Yishun, operating cost is high。
They employ 1 china gal and 1 previously from AquaStar, 1 relative or friend i think。。。 2 pairs of uncles/aunties(siblings)。。。 dont know how to earn enough。。。
>True , I would approach to any staff if I saw the fish are dead or going to RIP 。 This can save the fish from getting spread 。 Not easy to maintain a fish shop nowadays as workers not wanted to work long shift hours plus shirt and pant always get wet 。 Salary wise depend on experiences 。 All should encourage to approach staff if you notice the fish is dying or died in tank 。 This can save a life and for hobbyist to bring home a healthy fish 。 No offence is made in this thread 。 Just my thought 。 Cheers
>any idea what happen to the old bespectacled auntie ? never see her around 。
